Description
A World Series Champion will be crowned this weekend at the Daphne Sports Complex in Daphne, AL. This 4-game guarantee World Series event is open to 7u -14u teams. With all-turf fields that can withstand the elements to guarantee a great World Series, and GameChanger stats for every game, players will enjoy top-notch conditions and real-time performance tracking.
Our onsite director ensures a well-run event, featuring awards like Home Run Chains, Championship Rings, and Tournament MVP rings. Skills Competition/Opening Ceremonies: Wednesday, June 11. Registration by COACHES ONLY no later than Monday, June 9.
Tournament Format: Two pool play games; brackets are split for double elimination play
* 13u & 14u division will have a limited number of spots because we will ensure that everyone can play on the artificial surfaces. We will NOT ADD facilities that aren't turf.
* This is an Open World Series for Pool only. After pool play, the brackets will be divided for the double elimination bracket play based off classification and pool record.
* 9AA is a Steal Division in the Gulf Coast

Admission Fee: Daily entry is $20, $70 Weekend Pass, 10 & Under FREE. Skills Competition entry is included in the Weekend Pass IF purchased at the Skills Competition on Wednesday. Skills Competition ONLY tickets $5.

Team Defensive Session (Around the Horn): The pitcher will throw the ball to the catcher to start the clock and the clock stops when the left fielder throws the ball to the catcher and the catcher steps on home plate.
9-14u: Pitcher>Catcher>3rd>2nd>SS>1st>RF>CF>LF>Catcher
7-8u Pitcher>Catcher>3rd>2nd>SS>1st>RF>RCF>LCF>LF>Catcher
Fastest Man: Timed run from home to home. 7-8u-
4 DAY PITCHING RULE:
4 day pitching rules are slightly different than regular tournament rules. 9u-12u players are allowed to throw 145 pitches in 4 days and 13u-14u can throw 155 in 4 days. If a player throws more than 35 pitches they must have one day of rest. The one day maximum for 9u-12u is 75 pitches and 13u-14u is 85 pitches. Stay under 35 and the player can throw consecutive days; go over 35 and sit one day. Once a player gets to his 4 day maximum he is done for the tournament.
