A World Series Champion will be crowned this weekend at the 8th Annual 2D Sports Coach Pitch World Series in Lafayette, LA.  This 4-game guarantee World Series event is open to 7u -8u teams. With all-turf fields that can withstand the elements to guarantee a great World Series, and GameChanger stats for every game, players will enjoy top-notch conditions and real-time performance tracking. 

Our onsite director ensures a well-run event, featuring awards like Home Run Chains, Championship Rings, and Tournament MVP rings. Skills Competition/Opening Ceremonies: Thursday, June 11 from 6-8. Registration by COACHES ONLY no later than Tuesday, June 9! Skills Competition will be held at Youngsville Sports Complex Expansion 

Skills Competition: Fastest Man & Around the Horn

Fastest Man- Timed run around the bases from home plate to home plate. Each team can allow up to 3 runners. Fastest timed player wins. 

Around the Horn- Full team competition. Pitcher will throw the ball to the catcher to start the clock and the clock starts when the left fielder throws it to the catcher and the catcher steps on home plate. Order for throws: Pitcher>Catcher>3B>2B>SS>1B>RF>RCF>LCF>LF>C. Fastest timed around the horn wins. 

Tournament Format: Two pool play games, then double elimination

Opening Ceremony Thursday, June 11th, 4:30-6:00pm with Skills Competition to follow.

Games will start on Friday June 12-14th
