Collin LaCaze was involved in a hit and run on April 1, 2026 that ultimately took his life at the age of 16 years old. He was a junior at Alexandria High School and a member of the baseball team. He was a great son, friend and light in the lives of everyone around him. He was passionate about baseball and was a member of the winning World Series teams at ages 5 and 13. He was also a huge fan of cars and even started his own side gig washing and detailing them. He was an honor student at Alexandria High School maintaining a 4.2 GPA while also being an avid member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He was a fan of the outdoors and loved to fish in his free time, when he wasn’t helping volunteer throughout his community. Collin will be deeply missed by his father Shawn, his mother Jamie, and his younger brother Luke.
