Contingency Plan in Broken Bow
There is some potential weather coming into Broken Bow this weekend. Our team is getting ahead of this to plan accordingly.
If weather effects the originally planned schedule for your age division and we become limited on fields or game slots…here are some things we are considering:
(1) Playing late on Friday / Saturday / Sunday (potentially late into the night) at the Broken Bow Youth Complex, Choctaw Fields, Broken Bow HS, Valiant HS, Valiant SB.
(2) Adjusting the bracket format to 2 pool play, single elimination.
(3) Starting bracket Friday evening.
(4) Adjusting to Gold, Silver, and Bronze brackets for the division.
(5) In the event that some teams play 3 pool games and others only play 2, seeding will be based on the team’s first 2 pool games (this could happen if we get weather, run out of space to finish pool play, and forced to start bracket).
**Reminder, these are just contingency plans. We will stick to the original schedule until the weather tells us we can’t.

If a player throws more than 35 pitches they must have one day of rest. The one day maximum for 9u-12u is 75 pitches and 13u-14u is 85 pitches. Stay under 35 and the player can throw consecutive days; go over 35 and sit one day. Once a player gets to his 4 day maximum he is done for the tournament.
